Fukurō Complete analyzes reviewer comments together with the author's proposed responses.

It can identify:

Privacy and file retention

Smart Review makes immediate source-file deletion a prominent part of its privacy approach.

Its website states that manuscripts are processed in memory and that the uploaded file is permanently deleted after processing, while the report remains available.

Fukurō follows a different retention policy. Uploaded files and extracted manuscript text are temporarily retained for processing and are automatically deleted from active systems within three days after the review is created. Structured review results can remain available in the user's account.

If immediate deletion of the uploaded manuscript is a primary requirement, Smart Review has the clearer policy.

If the decision is based on the range of workflows available after the initial manuscript review, Fukurō provides more dedicated tools for submission and revision.
