We ran three open-access papers through Fukurō. Here is each original, the full report it produced, and the exact charge.
How these numbers were produced
Each paper was uploaded the way you would upload yours, reviewed by the same pipeline, and billed by the same meter. The figure on each card is the charge that landed on the account, not a projection. The reports are exactly what came out, with nothing removed or rewritten.

Why the number moves
Three things drive the cost, and length is only the first.
- Length. More pages and more words mean more text to read and more report to write.
- Density. A tight two-column paper carries far more content per page than a wide single-column one, so page count alone undersells it.
- What the paper needs. Heavy statistics, many figures, or a long reference list pull in more checks.
